what i do

[DRE] Libreros is an award-winning Executive Producer with over 15 years of agency and production experience leading interdisciplinary creative teams across North America, Latin America, and Africa. Known for delivering bold, culture-shaping campaigns, he’s helped bring to life powerful stories for global brands in financial services, CPG, tech, and telecommunications.

Originally from Cali, Colombia, Dre launched his career in post-production at the multi-award-winning Cut+Run after earning his BFA from the School of Visual Arts in New York City. At Cut+Run, he worked on campaigns for Brand Jordan, Johnnie Walker, and Verizon Wireless — and played a pivotal role in the branded entertainment documentary The World’s Greatest Music Stores for Nokia, directed by Wim Wenders and featuring the legendary David Bowie.

Fuelled by a deep curiosity for storytelling, Dre shifted into production, co-producing Alicia in Africa, a streaming documentary featuring Alicia Keys, honored by The Webby Awards and aired on Channel 4 UK. He followed it up with Keep a Child Alive with Alicia Keys, a multimedia campaign sponsored by CoverGirl that premiered on Showtime.

In both New York and Bogotá, Dre co-founded Neuplot.tv, a creative studio dedicated to producing and developing brand stories across formats and platforms. Highlights include executive producing Pambele — a scripted series based on the Colombian bestseller El Oro y La Oscuridad — and the documentary Rehearsal Space, featuring Sonic Youth’s Lee Ranaldo. His commercial work spans Verizon, Chase, Allstate, Honey Bunches of Oats, Evian, Amazon Alexa, Merck, and Pfizer.

Today, Dre serves as Executive Film Producer at Ogilvy New York, where he leads multimillion-dollar productions for Verizon. Outside work you’ll likely find him in Los Angeles or New York falling off a pull-up bar at CrossFit, dancing to Martin Rev., or nerding out on Calatrava, Le Corbusier, and Gehry — while devouring films from Andy Warhol and Darren Aronofsky.
